About

I’m an Assistant Professor at American River College’s Philosophy Department.

2017-2025 I was a lecturer at Cal State San Bernardino for the Philosophy Department, Honors Program, and Criminal Justice Online Program. I taught Introductory level courses in Ethics, Critical Thinking, general Philosophy and upper division courses on Philosophy of Language, Philosophy of Gender, and Ethics in Technology.

I completed my PhD in Philosophy at the University of California, Irvine in 2015 and was then a Mellon Humanities Faculty Fellow there for two years. As a fellow, I taught upper division metaphysics courses on personhood and gender and for the interdisciplinary Humanities Core Program.

I also enjoy painting, reading science fiction/fantasy novels, knitting, and video games.
